Powertex Art

Using the wonderful Powertex medium to make this Mirror and dry brushed with some beautiful pigment powders.

Decoart Mixed Media

It has been a long time since I have done a blog post due to health problems.....Anyway I have really enjoyed making some tags using the paints from the range of the Decoart mixed media.The colour's are so beautiful to mixed. The stamps used are from finnibair and Lisa Horton from creative expressions.

New Crealies Die's

Hi Blogger's.These are the new patchwork die and flowers from Crealie's.The flowers have been die cut using velum and coloured with the new Tim Holtz distress ink Fossilized Amber.The die's have been purchased from SunriseCrafts in Wombourne.

Beautiful Butterfly's

Hi Bloggers,having a play with one of the new stamps from IndigoBlu and what a great result .The background was created with Brushos on a hard backed canvas and then stamped on.I then coloured some white card and cut the butterfly's out.

Hi all. Not been on here for a while. Made this mdf tag for a challenge. Using my favourite stamps. Lavinia stamps. Tim Holtz distress inks. The flowers were coloured with the new Aqua water colour markers from Crafters Companion. Cut out and glazed with Glossy Accents.

I am entering this into the Lavinia Challenge. All things bright and beautiful

Poppy Tag

Hi bloggers, just a quick post on my poppy tag.This lovely die from sizzix was such a fantastic die to use,the background was created with Pan pastels and some grunge paste put through a stencil.The words are from Indigoblue .Look forward to reading your comments .

Altered Book

Hi all. Made this altered book for the Country view challenge? Painty Pleasures. Enjoyed doing this project. Painted the book in black acrylic paint, covered with Teresa Collins papers. Used my six dis die cut, inked this with black and silver acrylic paint.

Love anything  Tim Holtz, so used one of Tim's embossing folder on the tag. Coloured the tag with Tim's distress paints, just blending the colours together. Made some flowers using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies, then painted the flowers yet again using Tim's paints.....

This is how the book started on the left.  To finish added some silver hessian ribbon, then rubbed the whole book with gold gilding wax...love this product too.

Canvas

Hi bloggers, I made this canvas for a class I held at the shop I demonstrate for now and again.The shop is in Wombourne and it is an Aladdins cave for crafters.The shop is called Sunrisecrafts and they also do mail orders,you can visit them on the internet.What a fabulous class it was of 15 ladies and loads of crafts.

The canvas was painted and we also used some embossing paste through a stencil and a recycled cardboard box for mounting the picture on .More embellishments we're added ,paper flowers ,twine .

Surprise Box

Hi all. This month seems to be going so quickly. I made this surprise box.. It's a box to store some photos or chocs. Also a pocket to store tickets, tags etc.

Made this box using graphic 45 papers. French Country. Love these papers.

I am entering this into the Ali-Craft challenge. Anything goes.

The box which was attached to the inside, I cut the front out with acetate so the items can be viewed.

Hi to you all. Been having some good craft days, so could be on here with some more posts. Watch this space.... I want to enter lots of challenges this year, so my first will be Lavina Stamps Challenge.
ADD SOME GLITTER.

Used this package item which had some plywood christmas decorations in. Distressed the background with different Tim Holtz inks. Used Lavina's stamps to stamp with.. Cut the background paper to fit the box.

Stamped and cut out the black images. Then embossed the Believe word with  wow embossing powder, with glitter added. Just added bits of glitter on fairy wings and bits of background.

Mad Hatter

 

Hi Bloggers. Just a quick post of my mad hatter tag. I used a printed sheet from House of Zandra. Love these. Used corrugated card on the background painted with Paper Artsy paints fresco. Bits and pieces from stash. Hope you like this leave me a comment or two, it's nice to read them.

Prima Doll tag

Hi all. Sorry it's been a long time on here, but been so busy. Made this tag with the Prima Doll stamp. They are great stamps to use. Made this to go on my wifes christmas present but this tag is larger than the present..LOL

Die Cut and a Fairy

Hi Bloggers, Made another card for my favourite Lavinias challenge.The theme is "Use a punch or Die shape".The background is using distress inks,die cut shape with some small punched flowers.
The stamps are all from the fabulous Lavinia Collection....I coloured the fairy in with Pigmented Mica Watercolour Paint .Look forward to reading your comments .

Lavender Fairy

This is the Tag I am entering into the Lavinia Stamps Challenge "
Lovely Lavender." The tag is coloured using distress ink and the fairy is coloured using Pro markers.I found out an old punch to make the flowers and die cut leaves.Hope you like my entry love to read your comments.

ART IN BLOOM

Hi Blogger , just having a play with my new set of stamps by Lin Brown  from PaperArtsy called the Eclectically collection.Started by covering my tag with the fab paints from the Fresco range of PaperArsty chalk acrylics and also added some texture paste.I also added  some Treasure Gold  wax gilt to the top of paste when dry ... The flowers are stamped using the fresco paints on to black card then cut out .

Fuschia Tag

Hi,Bloggers. I have made this tag for the Country View Challenge. How does your garden grow.Made the Tag using the Prima papers sunrise sunset papers and applied a small layer of gesso over the top. The fuschias were made from flower dies and coloured with pro markers. Hope you like this one.

Secrets of the garden

 Hi bloggers,found time to craft at last.Wow what a great stamp set I purchased it is from the collection of the great Jo Firth Young from PaperArsty.First I stamped the flowers on the canvas board and then coloured them with the Tim Holtz distress markers then used a watercolour brush to soften the colours.What a great time I had playing with the stamps.The wording used was from another set from PaperArtsy designed by Lin Brown .

Decorated Tray

Hi to you all. This is my entry for The Lavinia Challenge. Anything goes..Used an mdf tray,used acrylic paint and Distress Ink Dusty Concorde. All stamps are from the Lavinia Stamp Collection. Added two little bottles filled with embossing powder and glitter. Hope you like this little tray, leave me a comment or two as I love to read them.
